Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and responsible MAVO/EMR to join our team. This role involves providing safe patient transportation and ensuring patient care during transit. The ideal candidate will be committed to maintaining safety standards, delivering compassionate care, and supporting the efficient movement of patients within healthcare facilities or between locations. Responsibilities

• Safely transport patients to and from medical appointments, hospital stays, or other healthcare-related destinations.
• Operate vehicles responsibly, adhering to all traffic laws and safety protocols to ensure safe driving practices.
• Provide basic patient care during transport, including assisting with mobility, comfort, and safety needs.
• Communicate effectively with healthcare staff to coordinate patient transfers and relay pertinent information.
• Maintain cleanliness and proper functioning of transportation equipment and vehicles.
• Follow all safety procedures and protocols to protect both patients and staff during transit.
• Document transportation details accurately as required by organizational policies.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Experience in patient transport or related healthcare roles is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided.
• Strong commitment to safety and patient care.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with healthcare teams.
• Ability to handle sensitive situations with professionalism and compassion.
• Physical ability to assist with patient mobility as needed.
• Prior experience with EMR systems is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided if necessary.

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 – 40.0 per week
