MC Driver

About the role

SPG Drainage and Civil Pty Ltd is seeking experienced MC Drivers to join our team in Karratha, WA. You will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of heavy vehicles to support our heavy haulage , logistics and civil construction projects in the region. About the role :

Karratha Drivers - 3/1 FIFO rosters or residential roles available.

Transport general freight & machinery through out the Pilbara.

Perth - Pilbara line haul runs

Operating double , triple and quad road train side tipper combinations

Operating 50T and 100T Floats

A wide range of work in the Pilbara region with exposure to different project sites

Mechanically minded - ability to carry out basic maintenance of trucks and trailers

Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle roadworthiness

Manage fatigue , maintain accurate records of driving activities, including logbooks

Adhere to all relevant road transport regulations and company policies

Assist with general site and yard duties as required

What we're looking for

1. Valid MC driver's licence with a strong driving record
2. At least 2 years' experience operating heavy vehicles in a civil construction or road transport environment
3. Experience in load restraint.
4. Experience with triple / quad side tippers - Highly desirable
5. MSIC Card - Highly desirable
6. Current drivers medical & fatigue certificate
7. White card - Highly desirable
8. Knowledge of road transport regulations and safety procedures
9. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
10. Good communication and problem-solving skills
11. A proactive approach to tasks and the ability to interact with customers
12. Proven culture of safety, understanding hazard identification and risk assessment process
