Position Overview

Due to our continued business expansion, we are seeking experienced and motivated MC Drivers to join our dedicated container transport team.

• Primary Role: Operating Skel B-Trailers and Prime Mover.

• Location: Based in Melbourne, offering flexible rostering including local transport tasks.

Key Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must possess the following qualifications:

• Licence: Current and unrestricted MC Driver’s Licence.
• Experience: Minimum 2 years of proven experience operating MC Skel B-Trailers. Experience in 40ft/20ft container transport is highly preferred.
• Compliance & Safety:
• Strong understanding of the Chain of Responsibility (CoR) and strict adherence to road transport legislation.
• Proficiency in load restraint techniques compliant with CoR standards and the ability to perform on-road safety checks.
• BFM (Basic Fatigue Management) accreditation (or willingness to obtain it) with the ability to manage work/rest requirements effectively.
• Professionalism:
• A clean and safe driving record (recent Driver History Report required).
• Diligent in completing Pre-start checks, safety logs, and delivery documentation.
• Excellent communication skills with a professional demeanor when representing the company.
• Positive attitude with the flexibility to work various shifts and perform local tasks as required.

Mandatory Onboarding Conditions

• Medical & Compliance: Provide a comprehensive medical report issued within the last three months (including Drug & Alcohol screening).
• Background Check: Consent to and provide a recent National Police Check.
• Driving Record: Provide a true and complete recent Driver History Report (from VicRoads/Service NSW etc.).

Pay: $35.00 – $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 33.0 – 40.0 per week
