The Role

Cardinal Contractors are currently looking to fill a permanent position for a Multi Combination Driver experienced in double watercarts and side tippers to work at our Telfer Operations on a 2:1 roster, day shift only. While you’ll be behind the wheel of an MC truck, your focus will be on maintaining the access road rather than on tight deadlines or high-pressure tasks. Think of it as a great chance to keep your skills sharp without the stress of a typical MC driving gig.

What We Need From You

• A valid MC licence for Road Ranger gearbox
• Compliance with safety standards
• Experience with double watercarts, side tippers and heavy haulage
• Inspecting truck for mechanical and safety issues
• Maintain internal and external truck cleanliness
• Complete all Cardinal Contractors paperwork and all other necessary paperwork to comply with any relevant regulation or statutory requirements
• Good written and oral communication skills
• Knowledge and practical application of Workplace OH&S
• Must be able to complete a pre-employment medical as well as drug and alcohol screen
• Must have current National Police Clearance
