About the Role

We are seeking local drivers who are motivated to gain valuable experience and have the drive to progress their careers within a reputable and stable company. Reporting to the Transport Allocator, the successful applicant will be a hands-on, energetic team player who is eager to learn, build experience, and take advantage of the opportunities this role offers.

Duties and responsibilities involve:

• Conduct local metropolitan deliveries in a safe and compliant manner
• Complete and maintain all relevant paperwork accurately
• Carry out general housekeeping and basic equipment maintenance
• Perform mandatory vehicle and equipment checks, including pre-start inspections and temperature set checks

Skills & Experience

The candidates we are looking for:

• A valid MC Licence
• Previous commercial driving experience (clearly detailed in your resume)
• A current forklift licence (advantageous)
• Minimum 2 years’ driving experience
• Ability to provide a current RTA driving record (printout)
• Polite, reliable, well-presented, with strong communication skills
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Strong safety-focused attitude
• Good knowledge of the Gold Coast and Brisbane metropolitan areas
• Experience with temperature-controlled products and equipment (highly regarded)
