MC Local Driver – Day Shift

Cahill Transport is a proudly Australian-owned, family-operated transport and logistics company with over 75 years of experience.

We're looking for an experienced MC Driver with a current Dangerous Goods (DG) Licence to join our Forrestfield team.

This is a full-time, Monday to Friday day shift role completing local metro, wharf and container work, with backup DG driving coverage at our Coogee customer site when required.

What You'll Be Doing

• Local metro and inner-regional deliveries.
• Wharf container collections and deliveries.
• Multi-drop deliveries.
• Operating tautliner, container, rigid and pig trailer combinations.
• Providing backup DG driving coverage at Coogee when required.
• Completing vehicle pre-start inspections and load restraint.
• Working safely in accordance with Chain of Responsibility and fatigue management requirements.

What You'll Bring

• Current MC Licence.
• Current Dangerous Goods (DG) Licence.
• Minimum 2 years' MC driving experience preferred.
• Container transport, wharf and pig trailer experience highly regarded.
• Strong load restraint skills.
• Confidence reversing and docking trailers.
• Flexibility to travel between Forrestfield and Coogee when required.
• Professional, reliable and safety-focused approach.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a current Fitness to Drive medical.
