MC Truck Driver – Interstate Linehaul

About the role

You will be responsible for operating modern prime movers and B-Double combinations across the interstate network. This is a full-time position based near Prestons, Sydney, operating primarily along the East Coast of Australia.

Key responsibilities

• Interstate linehaul across NSW, VIC and QLD
• Regular East Coast runs
• Depot-to-depot and customer deliveries
• Completing pre-start and safety checks
• Ensuring freight is correctly restrained and transported safely
• Maintaining accurate paperwork and PODs
• Complying with NHVR, fatigue management and company procedures

About you

• Current and unrestricted MC Driver Licence
• Minimum 5 years' MC driving experience
• Proven experience operating B-Doubles
• Proven interstate linehaul experience
• Clean criminal history and ability to pass a National Police Check
• Good driving history
• Must be willing and able to pass pre-employment and random drug and alcohol testing
• Current BFM accreditation preferred
• Strong understanding of load restraint and fatigue management
• Excellent safety record
