MC/HC Interstate work & Tilt tray driver

McCabe Transport is a Road Transport Company based in Unanderra

McCabe Transport has been in operation in the Wollongong area of New South Wales since 1996.

We are bulk haulage carriers of Industrial waste, scrap steel, gravel products, powder tankers, flat tops, floats, tilt trays and agricultural products providing services not only locally but both interstate and intrastate. We are NHVR and Trucksafe accredited.

POSITIONS AVAILABLE x2:

1 x Interstate Driver  - MC/HC License

• Dangerous Goods License required

• Mostly weekly set runs roughly 5000-6000 kms weekly

• Driver preferred location between Newcastle & Melbourne

• Employees may keep their truck at home

• Tipper experience required with prior knowledge

• BFM certified

• Offering immediate start with weekly pay, paying per KM, load/ Unload & overnight allowance

• Workshop for maintenance

• Ability to earn over $170k per annum

• Truck has bunk, A/C, microwave & Fridge

• 409SAR available for HC license

• 659WS auto or 409SAR for MC license

The Successful Applicants will require:

• To keep the truck in a clean and presentable manner
• Current medical required
• Driving record print out

Position 2

1 x Tilt Tray Driver – HR Licence

What’s involved:

• Mostly local work
• Tilt trays delivering hire company equipment and other machinery
• No salvage work
• Training provided for the right candidate

• Minimum 38 hours per week, with overtime available almost daily
• No time & half – all overtime paid at DOUBLE TIME
• Occasional half-day Saturday required – paid at DOUBLE TIME
• 1% extra superannuation

Skills & Experience

• Experience loading and unloading equipment (boom lifts, excavators, etc.)
• BSL Passport, HC, MC & MSIC licences an advantage
• High-risk tickets (WP & LF) an advantage
• Training provided for suitable applicants
