ME Engineer (Manufacturing / Process Engineer)

Our client is a global technology company specialising in optical communication and advanced optical interconnect solutions, supported by strong R&D and high-tech manufacturing capabilities. The company provides innovative connectivity solutions to customers across the telecommunications, cloud computing, artificial intelligence (AI), data centre, and networking industries.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work closely with R&D and Engineering teams to support new product transfer from NPI through Mass Production.
• Review product design specifications and ensure assembly and testing processes meet product requirements.
• Analyze and resolve product, process, and production issues to improve yield, productivity, cost, and scrap.
• Develop technical solutions and drive continuous process improvement.
• Prepare and maintain QCFC, Process Flow, SOP, Work Instructions, and FMEA documents.
• Maintain process and product information in MES for NPI and Mass Production.
• Conduct product failure analysis and troubleshooting, and recommend corrective actions.
• Collaborate with R&D, Engineering, Quality, Planning, Purchasing, and Manufacturing teams.
• Ensure product specifications, configurations, and BOMs are properly maintained.
• Maintain and improve test station yield, testing equipment, and fixtures.
• Develop and implement equipment and fixture maintenance plans and procedures.
• Support other engineering activities and improvement projects as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or above in Electronics Engineering, Telecommunication, Communication Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in manufacturing, preferably in the electronics industry.
• Experience in Manufacturing Engineering, Process Engineering, NPI, or Test Engineering.
• Experience in electronic product failure analysis and troubleshooting.
• Experience in process improvement / continuous improvement projects.
• Experience with testing equipment and fixture maintenance.
• Experience preparing or modifying SOP, FMEA, QCFC, and Work Instructions.
• Familiar with CPK, DOE, MSA, SPC, and GR&R.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Able to work under pressure in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Good command of Thai and English.
• Chinese language skills will be an advantage.
