Meal Delivery Driver

Job Overview
We are a small senior center located in southeast Kentucky seeking a reliable and responsible Meal Delivery Driver. This role involves delivering nutritious meals to our senior clients, ensuring timely and courteous service. The position is a part-time, 1099 contractor role starting on Wednesday, December 3, 2026, with the potential to increase delivery days from three to five per week as needed. The ideal candidate will have a personal vehicle suitable for deliveries, adhere to traffic regulations, and demonstrate excellent customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver meals to clients in a timely and professional manner on scheduled days, initially three days a week with potential for five days later.
• Safely operate a personal vehicle during deliveries, following all traffic laws and safety regulations.
• Ensure accurate delivery of meals to designated clients, maintaining the quality and temperature of food items.
• Communicate effectively with the senior center staff regarding delivery schedules or any issues encountered during routes.
• Maintain cleanliness and proper maintenance of your personal vehicle to ensure safe transportation.
• Provide courteous and respectful service to all clients, representing the senior center positively during each delivery.

Requirements

• Personal vehicle suitable for daily deliveries.
• Valid driver’s license and proof of insurance.
• Ability to adhere strictly to traffic regulations and safety standards.
• Reliable transportation with a clean driving record preferred.
• Strong time management skills to ensure timely deliveries.
• Good communication skills and a friendly demeanor when interacting with clients.
• Availability to start on Wednesday, December 3, 2026, with flexibility for additional days later on.
