Senior Concerns is looking for a Meals On Wheels Operations Supervisor to help lead our daily Meals On Wheels operation at Los Robles Rehabilitation Hospital.

This is a unique, hands-on position for someone who enjoys food and nutrition, loves working with people, is a natural organizer and wants a job with real purpose.

Every day, our Meals On Wheels team helps provide nutritious meals, and an important connection to the community, for older adults who want to remain safely and independently in their own homes.

You'll work in the active environment of the Los Robles Rehabilitation Hospital kitchen alongside hospital food service staff, Senior Concerns team members and our wonderful volunteer drivers.

You'll help keep the entire daily operation moving — coordinating meals and routes, overseeing packing and portioning, supporting volunteers, keeping things organized and occasionally stepping in to deliver a route when needed.

This isn't a sit-behind-a-desk-all-day job. It's active, social and fast-paced, and you'll see the impact of your work every day.

A Schedule That Leaves You Time for Life

This position is 32 hours per week over five days, with early morning start times generally between 6:00 and 9:00 a.m. and shifts averaging approximately 6–7 hours per day.

And no Sundays!

At Senior Concerns, 32 hours is considered full time, so you'll have the advantage of a shorter workweek while still being eligible for our full-time benefits.

Compensation & Benefits

$24–$28 per hour, depending on experience, plus:

• Have experience in food service, a commercial kitchen, restaurant, catering, hospitality, senior living or healthcare
• Enjoy food, nutrition and working with older adults
• Are organized and good at keeping lots of moving pieces on track
• Like working with people and volunteers
• Prefer being active to sitting at a desk all day
• Are dependable, positive and willing to pitch in wherever needed
• Are comfortable with basic computer tasks
• Want to go home each day knowing your work made a difference

Commercial kitchen experience and a food handler's certificate are required. A valid California driver's license is also required.
