Mean Stack Solution Architect

We are hiring an experienced MEAN Stack Solution Architect with proven banking or fintech domain exposure to build secure, scalable, cloud-native applications. The role demands deep hands-on expertise in Angular (v10+), Node.js + Express.js, and MongoDB, along with event-driven architecture using Kafka and/or RabbitMQ, microservices, and modern DevOps practices.

You will own end-to-end delivery from UI/UX integration to backend APIs, data modeling, deployment, and production monitoring in a high-compliance banking environment.

Key Responsibilities

Front-End (Angular)

• Build responsive, modular SPAs using Angular (v10+), Components, Services, Routing, and Forms
• Apply RxJS, Lazy Loading, and State Management (NgRx / BehaviorSubject)
• Integrate UI/UX with HTML5, CSS3, SCSS, and frameworks like Bootstrap / Material Design / Tailwind

Back-End (Node.js + Express.js)

• Design and develop RESTful APIs using Node.js and Express.js
• Handle async programming, event loop, promises/async-await, middleware, routing, error handling
• Integrate third-party services payments, notifications, OAuth

Messaging & Event-Driven Architecture

• Implement event-driven communication using Apache Kafka and/or RabbitMQ for banking workflows (payments, notifications, ledger updates, fraud alerts)
• Design producers, consumers, topics/queues, retries, and dead-letter handling
• Ensure message reliability, ordering, and idempotency in transactional systems

Database (MongoDB)

• Schema design with Mongoose, indexing, aggregation pipeline, and performance tuning
• NoSQL modeling, ACID principles in document DB
• Knowledge of backup, replication, and sharding

Architecture & Design

• Design scalable, secure, modular microservices-based architecture
• Expertise in RESTful APIs; GraphQL (optional)
• Containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes)
• Experience with API Gateway, Load Balancers, Service Mesh

DevOps & CI/CD

• CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab, or Azure DevOps
• Deployment automation, versioning, and rollback strategies
• Configuration management (Ansible, Helm)

Cloud Platforms

• Cloud-native design on AWS / GCP / Azure
• EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, CloudWatch, EKS
• Serverless architecture using AWS Lambda / Google Cloud Functions

Security & Compliance

• Secure coding practices (XSS, CSRF, SQLi/NoSQLi prevention)
• Auth: JWT, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, RBAC, multi-tenant architecture
• HTTPS, encryption, secrets management
• Familiarity with banking compliance PCI-DSS, PSD2, RBI guidelines (as applicable)

Testing & Quality

• Unit Testing: Jest, Mocha, Chai, Jasmine, Karma
• E2E Testing: Protractor, Cypress
• Code linting, formatting, and static analysis (ESLint, SonarQube)

Monitoring & Performance

• Application monitoring: ELK Stack, Prometheus, Grafana, New Relic
• Performance profiling and optimization at front-end and back-end
• Logging, tracing, and health checks

Mandatory Skills
