Measure Tech / Field Service Technician

Window Place Plus is hiring a full-time Measure Tech / Field Service Technician. You make sure every window and door job is measured right before it gets ordered, and you go back out when a customer needs service. You measure siding and roofing too, not just windows, and you work directly with the owners, not a regional office. We hand you the truck and pay for the gas. You get every measure right.

WHAT YOU'LL EARN: $65,000 to $72,000 a year based on experience, paid weekly, plus bonuses. You drive a company truck and we pay the fuel, so you never put miles on your own car.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

• Run field measures on sold window, door, siding and roofing jobs

• Photograph and document every job in CompanyCam for ordering and the install crews

• Check your measurements against the contract and flag anything that doesn't fit before it's ordered

• Handle service calls: adjustments, hardware, screens, caulking, minor repairs

• Work with homeowners on site. After the sale, you're often the first person from WPP they see.

• Keep the truck stocked and organized

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:

Required:

• 4+ years of hands-on experience with replacement windows

• Able to measure windows and doors accurately on your own

• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record

• Comfortable on ladders

• On time, and professional in a customer's home

Nice to have: siding or roofing experience, and Hover or a similar measuring app

WHAT WE HAND YOU: Company truck, paid gas, medical through UHC with a company contribution, dental and vision, 401(k), weekly pay, training on our products and measuring standards. Benefits eligibility begins the first of the month after 30 days of employment.

THE RAMP: You already know how to measure. We train you in the field on our products and our measuring standards before you run measures on your own.
