We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Meat Cutter to join our team in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing, processing, and cutting meat products with precision and adherence to food safety standards. This role requires strong knife skills, basic math abilities, and knowledge of meat preparation techniques to ensure quality and safety in all tasks performed.

Duties

• Cut, trim, and prepare various types of meat according to specifications and quality standards
• Operate meat processing machines safely and efficiently
• Ensure all meat products are handled in compliance with food safety management procedures
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work area by following sanitizing procedures
• Use basic math skills for portioning and weighing meat products accurately
• Assist in inventory management by organizing stock and rotating products as needed
• Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Follow safety protocols to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment

Requirements

• Basic knife skills with the ability to handle various cutting tools safely
• Experience or familiarity with meat preparation and processing techniques
• Ability to operate meat processing machines effectively
