Meat Cutter/Butcher

Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Meat Cutter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation and a strong understanding of food safety practices. As a Meat Cutter, you will be responsible for cutting, trimming, and preparing various types of meat products for sale, ensuring high-quality standards and exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Cut, trim, and package meat products according to specifications and customer requests.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, adhering to food safety standards.
• Operate various meat cutting tools and equipment safely and efficiently.
• Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers with their meat selections and answering any questions they may have.
• Monitor inventory levels of meat products and communicate needs to management.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations in the meat department.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in meat cutting or food preparation is preferred but not required. We are willing to train the right candidate!
• Strong knowledge of food safety practices and proper handling techniques.
• Proficient in using knives and other cutting tools safely.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with customers.
• Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality standards in all tasks.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks.
