Duties

• Pack meat products accurately and efficiently according to specified standards and weight requirements
• Operate packaging machinery and equipment with mechanical knowledge to ensure smooth production flow
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, adhering strictly to food safety and hygiene protocols
• Assist in meat cutting and processing tasks as needed, supporting the butchery team
• Inspect products for quality, freshness, and compliance with safety standards before packaging
• Follow all safety procedures and sanitation guidelines to prevent contamination or accidents
• Document packaging processes, batch numbers, and quality checks for traceability

Skills

• Experience in packaging within the manufacturing or food industry is highly desirable
• Knowledge of food processing techniques and meat cutting practices
• Strong understanding of sanitation standards and food safety regulations
• Mechanical aptitude to operate packaging machinery and troubleshoot basic issues
• Familiarity with butchery or meat handling enhances efficiency in the role
