Duties

• Operate meat processing equipment safely and efficiently to cut, trim, grind, or package meat products according to specifications
• Follow HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) protocols to ensure food safety at all stages of processing
• Conduct quality checks on meat products to verify freshness, appearance, and compliance with safety standards
• Maintain cleanliness of workstations and equipment in accordance with food safety regulations
• Assist in inventory management by accurately recording product weights and quantities using basic math skills
• Collaborate with team members to meet production goals while maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety
• Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns immediately to supervisors

Qualifications

• Prior experience in food production or meat processing is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
• Knowledge of HACCP principles and food safety regulations is highly desirable
• Mechanical knowledge or experience operating processing machinery is a plus
• Ability to perform basic math accurately for measurements and inventory tracking
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness and safety standards
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks efficiently
• Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward working in a fast-paced environment

Pay: From £13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 38.0 – 45.0 per week
