RBE and its subsidiaries are based just outside of Kansas City in Pleasant Hill, MO. Our resources are positioned to service projects in Missouri & Kansas.

We specialize in design-build and bid-build projects in the following areas of expertise: Concrete paving, earthwork, stormwater infrastructure, structural concrete, utility infrastructure, multi-use trail development, water/wastewater treatment plants, industrial facility repairs & development sitework.

Job Description:

RBE is currently seeking applications for a mechanic.

• Travel to a variety of project sites around the KC area to perform maintenance and repairs on trucks and heavy equipment when needed.
• Perform repairs out of main repair shop.
• Capable of performing a variety of skilled duties including but not limited to inspection, troubleshooting, maintenance, and general repairs.
• Maintain and update equipment and truck maintenance records.
• Report directly to the mechanic supervisor who will manage daily dispatch and assignments.
• Adhere to all safety and quality standards set by the company and DOT.
• All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of mechanic experience on heavy equipment
• 3+ years of mechanic experience on DOT vehicles
• Active CDL required
• Previous experience with Caterpillar & John Deere equipment preferred.
• Previous experience as a field mechanic or shop mechanic preferred.
• Must always have high safety awareness.

Pay: $39.00 - $41.00 per hour
