Mechanic

Automotive Mechanic

We are looking for an experienced and dependable Automotive Mechanic to join our team.

This position is best suited for someone with previous hands-on automotive repair experience who can work independently and efficiently. Prior experience is required. This is not an entry-level training position.

Required Experience

Applicants must have prior hands-on knowledge and experience with:

• Brake repair and replacement, including pads, rotors, calipers, and related components
• Oil changes, including conventional and synthetic oil services, oil filters, and fluid checks
• Suspension and steering repairs, including shocks, struts, control arms, ball joints, tie rods, and related components
• Basic automotive diagnostics and troubleshooting
• Proper use of automotive hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment
• Following proper safety and repair procedures

Job Responsibilities

• Perform brake repairs and replacements
• Perform oil changes and routine vehicle maintenance
• Perform suspension and steering repairs
• Diagnose common automotive problems
• Perform general mechanical repairs and maintenance
• Complete work accurately and efficiently
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Follow all shop safety procedures
• Provide quality workmanship and professional customer service

Qualifications

• Previous professional automotive repair experience required
• Strong knowledge of brakes, oil changes, and suspension systems
• Ability to diagnose and repair common vehicle issues
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Reliable and dependable
• Strong attention to detail
• Good work ethic and willingness to learn additional skills
• Valid driver's license

Pay: $19.00 - $24.00 per hour
