- Work closely with the Mechanical Lead and wider technical team to deliver the yacht to the required specification and programme.
- Carry out planned servicing, maintenance and inspection of mechanical systems.
- Support commissioning, testing and fault-finding both ashore and on the water.
- Work closely with design and engineering teams to deliver technical requirements on the yacht.
- Maintain high standards of workmanship, build quality and attention to detail.
- Contribute to reliability, ERP and component lifing programmes.
- Identify and help mitigate technical and operational risks.
- Work with the Mechanical Lead, procurement and operations teams to maintain appropriate spares, tooling and equipment.
- Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure effective integration of all yacht systems.
- Support sailing operations and provide mechanical assistance as required.
- Be flexible to work extended hours, weekends and travel when required by the programme.

- Experience in a similar mechanical role within high-performance sailing, motorsport or another demanding technical environment.
- Strong practical mechanical skills and a high level of attention to detail.
- Able to work independently while contributing effectively within a small, high-performing team.
- Excellent communication and collaborative skills.
- A proactive approach to problem solving, reliability and continuous improvement.
- Flexible in approach and comfortable working to tight deadlines in a dynamic environment.
- Willingness to relocate to Naples, Italy for the duration of the campaign.
