Mechanic

We are looking for an experienced, dependable mechanic to join our team at our South Glens Falls location. This is a full-time, year-round position responsible for maintaining and repairing our fleet of vehicles, equipment, and shop machinery.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Routine maintenance and repairs on vans and trucks
• Diesel equipment maintenance and repair
• Diagnosing and repairing vehicle electrical systems
• Small engine diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs
• Vehicle and equipment cleaning
• General shop upkeep and maintenance
• Troubleshooting and diagnosing mechanical issues
• Knowledge of hot water pressure washers and sandblasters is a plus

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of relevant mechanical experience
• Experience working with vehicle electrical systems and small engines
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
• Valid driver’s license
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of repairs and preventative maintenance

Pay: Weekly; compensation based on experience
