We are seeking a skilled and energetic Mechanic to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive diagnostics on heavy equipment such as excavators, cranes, forklifts, tractors, and other industrial machinery using schematics and electrical testing tools.
• Conduct repairs and maintenance on diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulic systems, suspensions, air brakes, HVAC systems, shocks & struts, and other key components to ensure optimal performance.
• Fabricate parts or modifications using welding, soldering, power tools, and hand tools to meet specific operational needs.
• Maintain and repair farm machinery and vehicle fleets including tractor-trailers and service trucks.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues involving wiring harnesses, sensors, switches, and circuit boards with precision.
• Perform tire service, wheel alignments, brake repairs, suspension adjustments, and general assembly of mechanical components.
• Use schematics and technical manuals to interpret complex mechanical diagrams for accurate repairs.
• Conduct routine inspections to identify potential issues before they escalate into major failures.
• Ensure all work complies with safety standards such as air brake certifications and proper lifting techniques for heavy equipment handling.
• Maintain detailed service records for all repairs performed and parts replaced.
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while providing excellent customer service when interacting with clients or operators.

Qualifications

• Proven mechanic experience with a strong background in heavy equipment operation and repair.
• Dealership experience is highly preferred for familiarity with brand-specific systems such as Caterpillar or similar brands.
• Proficiency in reading schematics and technical manuals for troubleshooting electrical and mechanical issues.
• Hands-on experience with fabrication techniques including welding and soldering.
• Knowledge of automotive diagnostics tools and diagnostic procedures for diesel engines and complex machinery systems.
• Ability to operate power tools safely and effectively while adhering to safety protocols.
• Strong mechanical knowledge across various systems including hydraulics, transmissions, HVAC systems, suspension components, brakes (including air brakes), shocks & struts.
• Experience working with farm machinery and industrial equipment is advantageous.
• Excellent problem-solving skills combined with the ability to perform heavy lifting safely when required.
• Effective communication skills to document work accurately and collaborate with team members or clients as needed.
