Mechanic

Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Mechanic to join our dynamic maintenance team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of industrial equipment and systems within our manufacturing facility. Your expertise will ensure optimal operational efficiency, safety, and reliability of machinery and electrical systems. Duties

• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on industrial machinery, HVAC systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems to minimize downtime.
• Troubleshoot complex mechanical issues using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools such as voltmeters, ammeters, ohmmeters, and precision measuring instruments.
• Repair or replace faulty components including motors, pumps, belts, valves, sensors, switches, and wiring in accordance with safety standards.
• Conduct electrical diagnostics involving low voltage and high voltage systems; read electrical blueprints and schematics for accurate repairs.
• Operate equipment such as scissor lifts and other field service tools safely to access hard-to-reach areas during maintenance or repairs.
• Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to document work orders, track maintenance history, and schedule future tasks.
• Collaborate with engineering teams on troubleshooting PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) issues and implementing modifications for process improvements.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols during all maintenance activities; participate in safety audits and training sessions regularly.

Requirements

• Proven experience working in manufacturing facilities or industrial environments with a strong understanding of industrial mechanics and maintenance practices.
• Hands-on experience with equipment troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance across mechanical and electrical systems.
• Proficiency in reading schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals related to electrical systems (including high voltage) and mechanical components.
• Knowledge of HVAC/R systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, stick welding, welding techniques, and use of precision measuring instruments.
• Familiarity with CMMS software for work order management; experience with electrical diagnostics tools such as voltmeters, ammeters, ohmmeters is essential.
• Ability to operate scissor lifts safely; certification is preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong analysis skills combined with excellent customer service orientation when working with internal teams or external clients during field service tasks.
• Effective communication skills in English; ability to interpret technical schematics and troubleshoot engineering issues efficiently.
• Relevant certifications or experience in industrial electrician work or industrial mechanic roles are highly desirable.

Pay: $30,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
