Mechanic

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and energetic Mechanic to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a wide range of industrial equipment and systems within our manufacturing facility. Your expertise will ensure optimal equipment performance, safety, and efficiency, supporting our commitment to operational excellence. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge, electrical diagnostics skills, and experience with industrial maintenance practices to keep our production running smoothly.

Duties

• Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on manufacturing equipment including hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems.
• Troubleshoot complex machinery issues using schematics, electrical blueprints, and diagnostic tools such as voltmeters, ammeters, and ohmmeters.
• Conduct electrical diagnostics and maintenance on industrial systems, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
• to document work orders, track maintenance activities, and manage inventory.
• Operate precision measuring instruments and welding equipment (stick welding) to repair or fabricate parts as/ if needed.
• Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols and participating in safety training sessions.

Requirements

• Proven experience working in a manufacturing facility or industrial environment with a focus on equipment maintenance.
• Strong mechanical knowledge combined with electrical troubleshooting skills; experience with industrial electrician tasks preferred.
• Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and electrical diagrams accurately.
• Skilled in welding techniques such as stick welding; experience with precision measuring instruments is essential.
• Knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs), electrical systems, and electrical blueprint reading.
• Proficiency using diagnostic tools including voltmeters, ammeters, ohmmeters for electrical troubleshooting.
• Excellent analysis skills combined with customer service orientation to support internal teams effectively.
• Fluency in English required; additional language skills are a plus.

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30.0 – 60.0 per week
