Mechanic

Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and energetic Mechanic to join our dynamic maintenance team within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Duties

• Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on manufacturing equipment, including hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and mechanical systems.
• Troubleshoot complex machinery issues using schematics, electrical blueprints, and engineering troubleshooting techniques.
• Conduct electrical diagnostics using tools such as voltmeters, ammeters, ohmmeters, and low/high voltage testers to identify faults in electrical systems.
• Repair or replace faulty components including motors, sensors, switches, wiring, and circuit boards to restore equipment functionality.
• Operate precision measuring instruments and welding tools (stick welding) to execute repairs with high accuracy.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints to facilitate accurate troubleshooting and repairs.
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for tracking work orders and asset history.
• Collaborate with engineering teams on troubleshooting pneumatic systems, hydraulics, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), and HVAC/R systems to optimize equipment performance.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols related to high voltage, electrical maintenance, and industrial mechanics standards.
• Support technical sales efforts by providing expert advice on equipment repair options and system upgrades when needed.

Requirements

• Proven experience working in manufacturing facilities or industrial environments with a strong background in industrial mechanic work.
• Proficiency with CMMS software for maintenance tracking and reporting.
• Hands-on experience with electrical diagnostics, troubleshooting electrical systems, and reading schematics.
• Skilled in equipment repair involving hydraulics, pneumatics, HVAC/R systems, welding (stick welding), and precision measuring instruments.
• Knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs), industrial electrician practices, high voltage/low voltage systems, and electrical blueprint reading.
• Ability to operate diagnostic tools such as voltmeters, ammeters, ohmmeters, and other testing devices confidently.
• Strong analysis skills combined with excellent customer service orientation to communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
• Industrial electrician experience preferred; certification in HVAC or HVAC/R is a plus.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex mechanical issues efficiently while maintaining safety standards at all times.
• Fluency in English required; additional language skills are advantageous but not mandatory.

Pay: $20.00 per hour
