Powersports Technician

Impulse Powersports | Lehi, UT
Full-Time | Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–6:00 PM

About the Opportunity

Impulse Powersports is looking for an experienced Powersports Technician to join our team in Lehi, Utah. We’re looking for someone who knows powersports, enjoys solving problems, and wants the opportunity to work on a wide variety of machines and brands rather than doing the same type of work every day.

The ideal candidate is an experienced A-level technician who is comfortable working independently and has a strong background in the powersports industry. Technicians with approximately 5+ years of experience are preferred, but we’re willing to consider strong candidates at different experience levels.

What You'll Work On

You’ll have the opportunity to work across a broad range of powersports equipment, including:

• Motorcycles
• ATVs
• Side-by-sides / UTVs
• A variety of powersports brands and models
• Routine maintenance and service
• Diagnostics and troubleshooting
• Mechanical repairs
• Electrical and technical diagnostics
• Engine and drivetrain work
• General repair and service needs

One of the biggest advantages of this position is the variety. You won’t be stuck working on the same machine or type of repair every day.

What We're Looking For

• Previous professional powersports technician experience
• 5+ years of experience preferred, particularly for an A-level technician
• Strong diagnostic and mechanical skills
• Ability to work independently and efficiently
• Experience working on motorcycles, ATVs, UTVs/side-by-sides, or similar powersports equipment
• Comfortable working with multiple brands and different types of equipment
• Strong attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship
• Reliable, hardworking, and team-oriented

We recognize the different skill levels within the trade, including A, B, and C technicians, and are open to discussing opportunities with qualified technicians at different levels.

Compensation

We’re very flexible on compensation structure for the right technician.

Depending on your experience and preference, compensation can be structured as:

• Hourly
• Flat rate
• Commission-based
• A combination or other structure that makes sense for both sides

For an experienced technician with a strong track record, we’re ideally targeting approximately $30–$40+ per hour, depending on experience, skill level, and compensation structure.

If you’re an experienced technician who knows what you’re worth, we’re willing to have a conversation and work out a structure that fits.

Schedule

Monday–Friday | 9:00 AM–6:00 PM

This is a full-time position with a consistent Monday–Friday schedule.
