Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Mechanic to join our industrial maintenance team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of equipment within a manufacturing facility. Your expertise will ensure optimal performance, safety, and reliability of machinery and systems. Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on manufacturing equipment, including HVAC/R systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems.
• Troubleshoot complex mechanical issues using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools such as voltmeters, ammeters, ohmmeters, and precision measuring instruments.
• Repair and replace components using welding techniques such as stick welding, ensuring high-quality equipment repair and maintenance.
• Conduct electrical diagnostics and troubleshooting on low voltage systems, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), and industrial electrical circuits.
• Operate field service equipment like scissor lifts safely to access elevated machinery or components for repairs or inspections.
• Read electrical blueprints and schematics accurately to identify issues and implement effective solutions.
• Use CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) to document work performed, schedule future maintenance tasks, and track equipment history.
• Collaborate with engineering teams on troubleshooting pneumatic systems and implementing modifications or upgrades to improve system performance.
• Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols and conducting regular safety inspections.

Skills

• Extensive experience working within manufacturing facilities with a strong understanding of industrial mechanics and maintenance practices.
• Proficiency in electrical diagnostics, troubleshooting electrical systems, and reading electrical schematics or blueprints.
• Skilled in welding techniques including stick welding for durable repairs.
• Knowledge of HVAC/R systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and low voltage electrical systems.
• Experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), industrial electrician tasks, and engineering troubleshooting methods.
• Ability to operate diagnostic tools such as voltmeters, ammeters, ohmmeters, schematics reading devices, and precision measuring instruments effectively.
• Strong customer service orientation with excellent analysis skills to identify root causes quickly.
• Field service experience with the ability to operate scissor lifts safely for elevated repairs or inspections.
• Familiarity with CMMS software for maintenance management tasks.
• Effective communication skills in English to document work accurately and collaborate with team members.

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
