High Spec is an independent used car dealership with a 4.8★ Google rating from 200+ reviews. We’re growing our stock and want a skilled in-house mechanic to keep our cars at the standard our customers expect.

The role

• Pre-sale prep and inspections on incoming stock
• Diagnostics and fault-finding across a range of makes, including prestige and performance vehicles
• Servicing, brakes, suspension and general mechanical repairs
• Handling post-sale customer issues quickly and properly
• Working with our sales and detailing team to get cars forecourt-ready fast

What we’re looking for

• Proven experience as a mechanic or vehicle technician (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent preferred)
• Strong with hand tools, power tools and diagnostic equipment
• Happy working outdoors in all weather. You’ll work from a dedicated station on our site using scissor ramps, not an enclosed workshop with a two-post lift
• Self-motivated, organised and able to work without supervision
• Full UK driving licence
• Own toolkit preferred

What we offer

• £33,000 – £38,000 basic, depending on experience and qualifications
• Basic pay reviewed after a 3-month probation

• Hours: 5–6 days a week, 10am–6pm
