About the role

The Mechanic Supervisor oversees the daily activities of branch mechanics, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and to high standards. This individual reviews completed work for quality and accuracy, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations. The Mechanic Supervisor provides training and mentorship to mechanics, facilitating skill development and career growth. This role involves developing work schedules and managing resources to optimize workflow and meet deadlines.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily activities of branch mechanics and ensure tasks are completed efficiently and to high standards
• Review completed work for quality and accuracy, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations
• Provide training and mentorship to mechanics, facilitating skill development and career growth
• Develop work schedules and manage resources to optimize workflow and meet deadlines
• Monitor inventory levels of tools and parts, ordering supplies as necessary to avoid work delays
• Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to mechanics to encourage professional growth
• Address and resolve technical issues or conflicts that arise within the team

About you

• Strong mechanical knowledge with in-depth understanding of mechanical skills in all motorcycle brands/models and tools
• Leadership skills with the ability to lead, motivate, and manage a team effectively
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with team members and management
• Problem-solving ability to troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues efficiently
• Strong time management and organizational skills to manage schedules and prioritize tasks
• High school diploma or equivalent; an associate degree or TESDA technical certification is a plus
• 5+ years of experience in automotive or industrial mechanics, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role
• Relevant certifications such as ASE certification preferred
• Adaptability to changing situations and technologies in the workplace
• Strong attention to detail to ensure quality workmanship and safety compliance
