Vehicle Technician / Mechanic

​Location: Avonmouth

Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (No Weekend Work!)

Salary: Competitive (Dependent on experience) + Overtime

​We’re a down-to-earth, hard-working team looking for a competent Vehicle Technician / Mechanic who takes pride in their work and enjoys a varied workday.

​The Role

​As a key member of our workshop team, you’ll be handling everything from routine servicing to complex diagnostics across a diverse fleet of cars and light commercial vehicles.

​Key Responsibilities:

• ​Performing routine servicing, maintenance, and safety inspections on modern cars and light vans.
• ​Carrying out mechanical repairs (brakes, suspension, clutches, timing belts, exhaust systems, etc.).
• ​Vehicle diagnostics, fault-finding, and practical troubleshooting.
• ​Maintaining clean, safe work areas and adhering to workshop standards.
• ​Completing jobs to a high standard efficiently and accurately.

​What We’re Looking For

• ​Experience: Proven hands-on experience as a vehicle mechanic/technician in a busy workshop setting.
• ​Versatility: Comfortable working on both passenger cars and light commercial vans across multiple makes and models.
• ​Skillset: Strong mechanical aptitude, diagnostic capability, and confidence working independently or as part of a team.
• ​Qualifications: NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent experience/time-served).
• ​Licence: Full UK Driving Licence.
