Mechanic Technician

Core Duties & Responsibilities

• Vehicle Diagnostics: Use computerized diagnostic equipment and infrared engine analyzers to scan vehicle electronics and interpret fault codes.
• Routine Maintenance: Perform scheduled services such as oil changes, fluid flushes, tire rotations, wheel alignments, and brake inspections.
• Mechanical & Electrical Repairs: Repair or replace worn and defective components including engines, transmissions, brake pads, sensors, fuel systems, and steering mechanisms.
• Testing & Quality Assurance: Road-test vehicles before and after repairs to ensure they meet manufacturer specifications and safety protocols.
• Documentation & Administrative Tasks: Log detailed reports of work completed, diagnostic findings, parts used, and time spent into digital repair order systems.
• Communication: Coordinate with service advisors to provide clients with accurate cost estimates, repair options, and timelines.
