Mechanic Technician

Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Mechanic Technician to join our team. As a Mechanic Technician, you will be responsible for performing repairs, maintenance, and diagnostics on a variety of vehicles. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a passion for automotive repair and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities:

· Perform general vehicle repairs, diagnostics, and maintenance.

· Identify and repair mechanical issues related to engines, transmission, brakes, electrical systems, etc.

· Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks.

· Diagnose complex issues using specialized tools and equipment.

· Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

· Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.

· Communicate effectively with service manager regarding customer repair needs and estimated costs.

· Keep accurate records of work performed and parts used.

· Assist in inventory management and ordering of parts.

Qualifications:

· Proven experience as a mechanic technician or in a similar role.

· Strong knowledge of vehicle engines, electrical systems, and mechanical components.

· Ability to use diagnostic tools and equipment.

· Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

· Strong attention to detail and high-quality workmanship.

· Ability to work independently or as part of a team.

· Valid driver’s license

· Relevant certifications (ASE, OSHA, etc.) are a plus.

· Strong communication and customer service skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $35.00 per hour
