Mechanical & Electrical Engineer

About the role

The Mechanical and Electrical Engineers will work closely with the project team to support the design, installation, quality, commissioning and handover of a data center project in Bangkok, Thailand. The data center is part of an existing campus.

Key responsibilities

• Work closely with the project team to support the design, installation, quality, commissioning and handover of the data center project
• Oversee installation works and quality control of contractors and vendors
• Review technical information, shop drawings, as-built drawings, O&M documentation and commissioning reports
• Carry out site inspections of contractor and vendor installations and implement appropriate monitoring protocols
• Support design modifications during construction
• Manage project issues, observations and technical matters
• Take a proactive approach to project schedule and quality
• Promote and maintain client safety standards at all times
• Undertake testing and commissioning activities, including integrated systems testing
• Actively participate in project meetings and assist in driving ad-hoc meetings to ensure timely project delivery

About you

• 2–5 years of relevant experience in Mechanical / Electrical systems and Building Services coordination, preferably with multinational corporate exposure
• Degree or above in Mechanical, Electrical, Building Services Engineering, or a related discipline
• Reliable and proactive working attitude
• Self-motivated with good teamwork skills
• Good communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills with the ability to work with multiple stakeholders
• Good command of written and spoken English and Thai
• Good knowledge and understanding of MS Office and MS Project
• Familiarity with relevant local and international standards
