Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a talented Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) Engineer to join ACTER Technology Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. in Kuala Lumpur City Centre. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in the design, development, and implementation of mechanical and electrical systems for our projects. As an M&E Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring that all mechanical and electrical components are efficiently integrated, meet industry standards, and contribute to the successful delivery of our engineering solutions. This position offers the opportunity to work on diverse projects whilst contributing to the company's reputation for technical excellence and innovation.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise mechanical and electrical works at construction sites.
• Review M&E drawings, specifications, and technical submissions.
• Ensure M&E installations comply with approved drawings, project specifications, and relevant standards.
• Coordinate with C&S engineers, consultants, contractors, and other project teams.
• Monitor site progress, quality, and safety requirements.
• Identify and resolve technical issues related to M&E works.
• Prepare progress reports and project documentation.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the superior.

Job Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 2–5 years of relevant working experience in construction or engineering projects.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and familiar with M&E drawings.
• Knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, installation, and site coordination.
• Good communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
• Able to work independently and meet project deadlines.
