MECHANICAL & ELECTRICAL TECHNICIAN

Key Responsibilities

• System Design: Develop blueprints and specifications for mechanical (HVAC, piping, lifts) and electrical (lighting, HT/LV distribution, data networks) systems.
• Site Supervision: Oversee on-site M&E installations to ensure they align with engineering contracts, safety standards, and structural drawings.
• Testing & Commissioning: Conduct performance tests on installed systems to verify functionality, energy efficiency, and regulatory compliance before handover.
• Troubleshooting: Resolve technical issues on-site and address unforeseen challenges that could delay project timelines.
• Budgeting & Procurement: Estimate material and labor costs, review supplier bids, and ensure M&E components meet the project's budget.

Qualifications & Skills

• Education: Certificate/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related field.

• Project Management: Strong capability in reading technical specifications, risk assessment, and managing cross-functional teams.
