Mechanical Assembler (2 years+ exp)

Job Summary:

The Mechanical Assembler is responsible for assembling mechanical components and systems according to technical specifications and blueprints. This role requires attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work with various tools and machinery. The assembler will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and functionality of products before they are delivered to customers.

Key Responsibilities:

Assembly Operations:

• Assemble mechanical parts and components according to engineering drawings and specifications.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and machinery to complete assembly tasks

Blueprint Interpretation:

• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics to understand assembly requirements.
• Ensure accurate assembly by following specified dimensions and tolerances

Quality Control:

• Inspect finished assemblies for quality and compliance with specifications.
• Identify and address any issues or discrepancies during the assembly process.

Documentation:

• Maintain accurate records of production output, assembly processes, and any issues encountered.
• Complete necessary paperwork related to assembly tasks and quality checks.

Collaboration:

• Work closely with engineering and production teams to address design changes and improve assembly processes.
• Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth operations.

Safety and Maintenance:

• Follow safety protocols and best practices to maintain a safe work environment.
• Perform routine maintenance on tools and equipment to ensure optimal performance.

Qualifications:

Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in mechanical assembly or a related field preferred.

Experience:

• 2+ years of experience in mechanical assembly, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.

Skills:

• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and assembly techniques.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
