Job Summary

The Mechanical Assembler is responsible for assembling components and parts to produce machines, products, and other equipment, reading and interpreting blueprints, assembly instructions, sketches, and parts lists to position components and verify proper fit and alignment. We're looking for someone with a strong work ethic and attention to detail who works safely and reliably.

Primary Responsibilities

• Study and interpret assembly instructions.

• Listen to and follow verbal and written instructions.

• Verify that all required parts and components are present before beginning work.

• Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and parts lists.

• Position parts and subassemblies according to specifications.

• Interpret measurements and verify specifications.

• Assemble components using appropriate hand and power tools.

• Ensure all parts are properly fitted, aligned, and secured.

• Make adjustments or modify dimensions as necessary to meet specifications.

• Record inventory changes as required.

• Accurately record time on jobs and projects.

• Consistently adhere to the assigned work schedule, including punctuality and reliable attendance.

• Maintain a clean and organized work area.

• Comply with all company safety rules and guidelines.

• Work safely, without presenting a danger to self or others.

• Demonstrate a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a positive team attitude.

• Perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.

Assembler Skills and Qualifications

• Two or more years of experience in general assembly work or specialized training preferred.

• Experience using hand and power tools required.

• Basic math and communication skills required.

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints required.

• Experience working with hydraulics and pneumatics is a plus.

Physical Requirements

Pre-Employment Requirements

Employment offers are contingent upon successfully passing a required drug screening.

Pay: $23.00 - $26.00 per hour
