Mechanical Assembler - II

Job Overview

As a Mechanical Assembler - II, you’ll build and fit mechanical components in a manufacturing environment, using technical drawings, production documents, and precision measuring instruments to guide your work. You’ll bring mechanical knowledge and careful workmanship to each assembly, while following safe work practices and production requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical components using hand tools, power tools, pneumatic tools, and specialized industrial tools.
• Read schematics and blueprints; interpret technical drawings and production documents to confirm assembly steps and specifications.
• Measure and verify parts with calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments.
• Perform soldering and basic machining tasks as assigned; report defects or drawing discrepancies.
• Handle materials manually as needed, use personal protective equipment (PPE), and maintain a clean, organized work area.

Qualifications

• Mechanical assembly experience and practical mechanical knowledge; manufacturing or warehouse experience is helpful.
• Ability to read blueprints, interpret production documents, and apply shop math to assembly and measurement tasks.
• Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, pneumatic tools, soldering, and specialized industrial tools.
• Experience using calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring instruments is preferred.
• Able to perform manual handling tasks and follow required PPE and workplace safety practices.

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week
