Position Responsibilities

• Assess workspaces to ensure tasks are completed safely
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and component specifications
• Assemble and install mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical components
• Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems with engineering/service support
• Perform basic testing to ensure components meet required standards
• Communicate with Engineering and Manufacturing teams to meet company and regulatory standards
• Safely operate cranes, lift trucks, and other material-handling equipment
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong commitment to safety and participation in safety programs
• Certificate of Qualification from a recognized apprenticeship or technical program (Mechanic, Millwright, Electrician, Engineering, etc.)
• Experience in heavy equipment repair or assembly
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Ability to perform math calculations at an SSGD level
• Experience or certification operating cranes and lift trucks
