- Drawing & Documentation Interpretation Reading and interpreting 3D CAD models.
- Reading and interpreting 2D engineering drawings (including dimensions, tolerances, and symbols).
- Understanding and accurately following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Tool Handling Identifying and using basic hand tools (e.g., spanners, screwdrivers, pliers).
- Operating power tools safely (e.g., drills, torque wrenches).
- Performing proper tool maintenance and storage.
- Fasteners Knowledge Identifying different types of fasteners (e.g., bolts, nuts, washers).
- Applying correct torque and tightening sequences.
- Understanding thread types and locking mechanisms.
- Parts Assembly Assembling mechanical components as per drawings and specifications.
- Performing alignment and fitting of parts.
- Conducting visual and functional checks post-assembly.
- Bought-Out Parts Handling Identifying and understanding bought-out components (e.g., bearings, couplings, motors).
- Explaining the working principles of key components.
- Handling and installing bought-out parts as per guidelines.
- Knowledge of SAP systems for production tracking.
- Hands-on experience with assembly tools and fixtures.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and assembly instructions.
- Strong understanding of mechanical components, tolerances, and assembly techniques.
