Mechanical Assembly - Entry Level

Job Overview

We are seeking motivated and detail-oriented individuals to join our team as Mechanical Assembly - Entry Level – preferably with 2 to 5 years’ experience is plus but not required in the tortilla and snack industry primarily involve building, assembly of heavy industrial processing equipment like commercial sheeters, ovens, cooling conveyors, fryer systems. This role fall under food-grade manufacturing machinery, assemblers must build equipment to strict sanitary and precision standards.!

Duties

• Perform mechanical assembly work on large scale food processing machinery.
• ·Installation of CB5, wire mesh, cleat-Trak belting is a plus.
• Assemble products based on information given to you by engineers, work instructions, procedures and drawings.
• Be able to read and comprehend engineering drawings.
• Maintains a clean and organized work area to facilitate manufacturing functions
• Light electrical knowledge is a great plus but no necessary
• Be able to multi-task through a variety of job orders

Qualifications

• · High school diploma or G.E.D. not a must, but having one is good.
• Least 2-5 years of experience working in this industry a plus.
• Able to interpret and layout jobs based on mechanical design.
• Must possess their own tools.
• Able to lift 50 pounds, properly.
• Able to understand and follow instructions.
• Must fully understand and adhere to maintenance, safety, and quality processes and procedures.
• Maintain a good attendance record
• Must be willing to work overtime as needed.
• Must possess quality communication and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrate respect for peers, subordinates, supervisors and customers

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
