About the Position

We are looking for a full-time Mechanic / Assembly Technician to join our growing team. The ideal candidate for this job is someone with a positive attitude who is dependable and willing to take direction. This position requires strong mechanical knowledge and close attention to detail.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Disassembly and assembly of industrial equipment.
• Cleaning parts prior to assembly; maintaining a clean and organized work space.
• Stripping, sandblasting and painting metal components.
• Bending & installing conduit; pulling wire and other basic electrical work.
• Operating forklift; rigging & lifting heavy equipment.
• Other duties as assigned.

Experience and Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years related mechanical experience.
• Able to lift, stack and move heavy materials (50+ pounds); climb ladders, etc.
• Required experience: at least one year building, assembling, working with industrial machinery.
• Preferred experience: forklift operation, use of micrometers and indicators, basic electrical work, high precision machinery experience.

Details

• Hours: Full-time, Monday – Friday, 7:30 am to 4:00 pm.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $45.00 per hour
