At NSEC Precision Engineering Sdn Bhd, we are seeking a skilled and dedicated Mechanical Assembly Technician to join our dynamic team in Jelutong, Penang. As a full-time Mechanical Assembly Technician, you will play a crucial role in the manufacturing process, ensuring the efficient assembly and quality control of our precision-engineered products.

What you'll be doing

• Assemble various components and sub-assemblies according to established procedures and specifications
• Perform quality checks and inspections at various stages of the assembly process
• Maintain accurate records and documentation related to the assembly process
• Collaborate with other team members to identify and resolve any issues or anomalies during the assembly process
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize the assembly workflow and enhance productivity
• Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment

What we're looking for

• Secondary school certificate or equivalent educational qualification
• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a similar assembly or production role, preferably in the manufacturing industry
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions and procedures with precision
• Proficient in the use of hand tools, power tools, and basic measuring instruments
• Good problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and troubleshoot issues
• Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with colleagues
