MECHANICAL BIM MODELER

We are looking for a skilled Mechanical BIM Modeler with experience in mechanical building services to join our team in Dubai. The candidate will be responsible for developing accurate 3D BIM models, preparing coordinated shop drawings, and ensuring compliance with project specifications and UAE standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain 3D BIM models for mechanical HVAC systems using Autodesk Revit.
• Prepare mechanical shop drawings, layouts, sections, and detailed drawings.
• Model HVAC ductwork, chilled water piping, ventilation systems, and related mechanical services.
• Coordinate mechanical models with electrical, plumbing, structural, and architectural disciplines.
• Perform clash detection and resolve coordination issues using Navisworks.
• Prepare coordinated drawings, sections, and as-built drawings.
• Ensure models and drawings comply with project requirements, specifications, and applicable UAE standards.
• Update BIM models based on design changes, site requirements, and consultant comments.
• Coordinate with BIM Coordinators, Engineers, and other discipline teams to ensure timely project delivery.
• Maintain BIM model accuracy and follow project BIM execution plans and standards.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in Mechanical BIM Modeling, preferably in the UAE.
• Strong proficiency in Autodesk Revit MEP.
• Working knowledge of Navisworks Manage for model coordination and clash detection.
• Good understanding of HVAC systems, ductwork, chilled water piping, and ventilation systems.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, specifications, and design layouts.
• Knowledge of BIM standards, LOD requirements, and multidisciplinary coordination.
• Experience preparing shop drawings and as-built drawings.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working on commercial, residential, hospitality, or high-rise building projects in the UAE.
• Familiarity with UAE authority requirements and relevant mechanical codes.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD and BIM collaboration platforms such as Autodesk Construction Cloud.

Pay: AED4,500.00 - AED5,500.00 per month
