Mechanical Construction Project Engineer

Education

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, Engineering Technology, or related field preferred.
• Equivalent construction experience may be considered.

Experience

• 3-7 years of experience in civil, mechanical construction, WWPS, Water Works, Powerplant & Refinery piping, SCADA controls, industrial, or commercial construction projects.
• Experience with design-build and negotiated projects preferred.

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with Procore, Bluebeam, AutoCAD, or similar construction software.
• Experience with P6 software and CPM schedule development and updating.
• Ability to read and interpret construction documents and contracts.
• Strong understanding of HVAC systems, plumbing systems, industrial piping, and mechanical equipment installation.

Knowledge

• Mechanical systems installation methods.
• Construction P6 scheduling techniques.
• Material procurement processes.
• Cost tracking and project controls.
• OSHA safety requirements.
• Construction contracts and project documentation.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to work in both office and construction site environments.
• Frequent site visits requiring walking, climbing ladders, and navigating active construction areas.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
