About the Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Construction Sr. Project Manager / Lead Estimator to join a top ENR-ranked mechanical contractor in the Pittsburgh market.

This opportunity is ideal for a seasoned mechanical construction professional with strong experience managing projects from preconstruction and estimating through execution, completion, and closeout.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HVAC, piping, plumbing, sheet metal, fabrication, and design-build, along with excellent project management and field coordination skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage multiple mechanical construction projects from preconstruction/estimating through closeout
• Oversee commercial and industrial HVAC, piping, plumbing, and sheet metal projects
• Coordinate with field crews, subcontractors, vendors, engineers, and customers
• Manage schedules, budgets, manpower, materials, and overall project performance
• Review drawings, specifications, and project requirements
• Coordinate design-build activities and support scope development
• Manage estimating, cost tracking, change orders, and project forecasting
• Utilize AutoCAD/CAD knowledge for mechanical design and layout coordination
• Partner with field operations to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, on schedule, and within budget
• Manage projects across commercial, light industrial, retail, and government facilities

Ideal Background

• Strong experience in mechanical construction project management and/or estimating
• Commercial and industrial HVAC/mechanical construction experience
• Knowledge of HVAC, piping, plumbing, sheet metal, and fabrication
• Experience with design-build projects
• Strong understanding of drawings, specifications, budgeting, scheduling, and project execution
• Ability to effectively coordinate with customers, engineers, subcontractors, and field teams
• AutoCAD/CAD experience is a plus

Pay: $140,000.00 - $170,000.00 per year
