Preferred candidate profile

We are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer with hands-on experience in product design using Creo. The candidate should have strong knowledge of plastic component design, injection moulding, GD&T, DFMEA, and Design for Manufacturing (DFM). Experience in the automotive, consumer durables, electronics, or EMS industry will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop mechanical components and assemblies using PTC Creo.
• Create 3D models, manufacturing drawings, and BOMs.
• Design plastic parts considering injection moulding guidelines.
• Perform DFMEA to identify and mitigate design risks.
• Apply GD&T standards and tolerance stack-up analysis.
• Ensure DFM/DFA compliance for manufacturability and assembly.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including R&D, Manufacturing, Quality, and Suppliers.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including R&D, Manufacturing, Quality, and Suppliers.
• Support prototype development, testing, and engineering change implementation (ECO/ECN).
