Mechanical Design Engineer – Automation Equipment Sales Engineer Technical Sales Engineer – Machine

We are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to design customised semi-automatic and fully automatic machines. You will support projects from concept development and detailed design through fabrication, assembly, customer acceptance and installation.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop mechanical concepts for automation machinery.
• Design machine structures, mechanisms, fixtures and assemblies.
• Produce 2D drawings and 3D CAD models.
• Prepare fabrication drawings, BOMs and technical documentation.
• Select appropriate mechanical components and materials.
• Perform tolerance and engineering calculations where required.
• Coordinate with electrical, control, production and purchasing teams.
• Support machine assembly, troubleshooting and design modifications.
• Participate in customer design reviews and project meetings.
• Support machine testing, customer buy-off and commissioning.
• Assist the Project Manager with project coordination and delivery.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering.
• Experience designing customised automation equipment preferred.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks or equivalent 2D/3D CAD software.
• Understanding of mechanical design and manufacturing processes.
• Knowledge of industrial automation is advantageous.
• Able to manage multiple engineering tasks and project deadlines.

Pay: $2,800.00 - $4,600.00 per month
