Mechanical Design Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to support a medical device assembly line project in Greenville, SC. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical design experience, hands-on expertise with SolidWorks , and exposure to Creo .

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and modify mechanical designs for medical device assembly equipment and manufacturing systems.
• Create and update 3D models, engineering drawings, and technical documentation.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, engineering, and project teams to support assembly line requirements.
• Review designs for manufacturability, functionality, and quality.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and design issues and support engineering changes.
• Communicate effectively with internal teams, customers, and project stakeholders.

Requirements

• 5+ years of mechanical design/engineering experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with SolidWorks .
• Experience with Creo is preferred.
• Experience supporting manufacturing or assembly line environments.
• Medical device manufacturing experience is a plus.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Must be willing to work onsite in Greenville, SC .
