Mechanical Design Engineer

该职位来源于猎聘 Mechanical Design Engineer Scope: To perform, secure and deliver the mechanical design of components or sub modules in GN Enterprise product development Epics, concepts or tech studies.

• Work cross functionally on deliverables, requirements & specifications regarding plans and as defined by Mech Design Lead (and/or) Technical Lead / Epic Owner
• Be responsible for the mechanical design of assigned components or sub modules according to the defined target/criteria in quality, cost, manufacturability and sustainability.
• Be responsible for all the interfaces surrounding and interacting with assigned components.
• Be responsible that all issues on assigned components are managed in a correct and structured way according to defined issue management system.
• Be responsible for making all the specifications needed and file/document them in a correct way according to established procedures.
• Be responsible for that the components or systems are:

 Fully verified regarding function and requirements according to plans, checklists and targets.  fully verified regarding dimensions and cosmetics according to plans and targets

• Maintain time schedules for manufacturing of tools and parts for planned prototype builds on assigned components.
• Communicate deviations from time plan, specification or function to Mech Design Lead and/or Epic Owner/Technical Lead
• Be updated on cost for assigned tools, parts and processes.
• Make risk assessments on the mechanical components or sub modules.
• Be responsible for the mechanical Approvals & Part Design Approval by following the PPA process.
• Responsible for communicating all changes with a commercial or cost impact to responsible CCM/OPM
• Support IPM to define assembly processes and instructions (DFA process).
• Be the interface towards component suppliers in all technical issues.
• Take part, and make use of the supplier's design and processes knowledge (DFM Process)
• Maintain a professional, positive, collaborative working attitude towards colleagues, stakeholders and partners with others.
• Be Agile: Help your colleague and accept help from other colleagues. Reach outside “comfort zones” if needed.
• Preferred Education/Experience
• Education in mechanical engineering at Bachelor or Master level.
• Proven track record and 3+ years of experience within mechanical design in consumer product industry.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in Chinese and English Location, Xiamen, Fujian, PRC
